Eagles Team Up with Toys for Tots

All fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation will receive free admission to the game.

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball program is once again teaming up with Toys for Tots during its 2009-10 home opener against Marygrove College Monday, Nov. 16. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Convocation Center.

All fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation will receive free admission to the game. Toys for Tots is a program administered by the United States Marine Corps Reserve to assist less fortunate youth, by providing them with a toy during the holiday season.

Fans will also be able to take advantage of the new EMU Basketball “Weekday Deals”. At every weekday men's and women's basketball home game during the 2009-10 season, kids ages 12 and younger will get in free and all fans can purchase popcorn at the concession stand for just 50 cents.

Additional tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for youth during the weekend, and can be purchased by calling the EMU Ticket Office at 734-487-2282 or visiting emueagles.com.
